H1 Healthcare is seeking experienced Youth Workers for casual agency shifts across the Ormeau, Pimpama, and surrounding Gold Coast regions. Work with one of our key national clients and enjoy flexible AM, PM, Night, and Sleepover shifts available immediately.



About the Role

As a Youth Worker, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed care and support to young people in residential care settings.

Your role will involve:

• Delivering mental health and behavioural support
• Providing one-on-one and group-based care
• Supporting young people through crisis and emotional challenges
• Implementing trauma-informed practices
• Contributing to a safe, stable, and positive living environment
• Engaging in recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
  
  
  Mandatory Requirements (Essential)
  
• Diploma or higher qualification in Youth Work, Community Services, Social Work, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience working in residential care and/or youth support environments
• Current QLD Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card/NDIS Clearance)
• Current National Police Check
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Valid Queensland Driver Licence
• Current LCS2 certification
• Proven experience in Trauma-Informed Care
• Completion of the Hope and Healing Framework Foundations Module
• Understanding of Child Protection and Residential Care Standards in QLD
• Availability for sleepover and active overnight shifts highly regarded
